Hetaila Day 2012 is Saturday October 20, 2012, however, there is a meetup on the 21st that has been confirmed.

Hello!

I was wondering if there will be a Hetalia Day in London this year? I'm going there for vacation until Oct 20 (well my flight's at 8pm that day but who cares). I'd love to drop by and take some pictures as tourist!Japan :)

The poll for the date of this year's Hetalia Day is now closed, and the winning date is 20 October 2012, a Saturday.

Mechanics are still the same: send your meetup details to hetalia.day@gmail.com for inclusion in the directory.

If you haven't voted for your preferred Hetalia Day 2012 date (October 20, 21, 27 or 28), vote now! The poll will close on Saturday, June 30.

Starting July 1, the meetups will be posted on the website.

The past Hetalia Day events have always been scheduled on the weekends closest to 24th October, which is United Nations Day. However, 24th October 2012 falls on a Wednesday, the middle of the week. So Hetalia Day 2012 can be schedule the weekend before or after 24th October of this year.

In other words, there are four possible dates for Hetalia Day 2012:

• 20 October 2012 (Sat)
• 21 October 2012 (Sun)
• 27 October 2012 (Sat)
• 28 October 2012 (Sun)

So what do we do?

We take a poll for the date.

We know from past experience that not everyone is able to hold their Hetalia Day event on the same day, so what we will be voting for is a recommended date.

BRING IT OOOONNNNN!!!

I was wondering, does anyone have plans for a Gerogia meetup? I was going to make one this year, but I'm not sure if I can, with family and budget issues. I've already checked the APH day website, and haven't seen a GA one. If anyone wants a little help with planning, I can see if I can help at all.
